Economic and Community Development

Community development is an issue of continuing interest not only because of the need for more successful economic development within our cities, but because the survival of a significant portion of poor is at stake. Rotary members promote economic and community development and reduce poverty in underserved communities through training, well-paying jobs and strengthening local entrepreneurs.
